Kodak Verichrome type 620

Verichrome is orthochromatic film produced by Kodak from 1931 to around 1956 that targeted consumer market. Type 620 roll-film was also introduced in 1931.

The film was developed in HC-110 dilution B at 7 °C for 11.5 minutes. Only one badly degraded image could be seen on the negative, and it is not clear if this exposure was intentional or the photographer accidentally pushed the shutter release. The mark towards the left of the frame was left by the film roller in the camera. The interesting shape in the centre of the frame is left by fungi. As with the 116 type roll, the film was left in the camera for a long time, sufficient for the roll pin in the camera to start rusting and the fungi to complete their life cycle.
